Trouble Shooting
You need to unzip the installation file using
Izarc or similar free
program.
DOWNLOAD THE ENGLISH VERSION OF YOUR POKER SITE,
or this could cause problems.
You must make sure that all options in the Chat Box on the Poker Room are
ticked (by default 1 of the boxes is not ticked). Do you have any security
devices that are preventing it from reading the screen etc? Try starting
the Bot first, it should say "searching for poker site" If you get this
message then the bot is working. Then start the site you have selected.
Also if you are trying to connect to a site that you was already a member
of, before you downloaded the Bot, then it will not work until you sign up
for a site that you are not already a member on.
When you first install the bot, it searches your computer for Poker sites
that are NOT installed on your computer, that it is compatible with. If
you are already a member of a site that it gives you the option to join,
it is because you no longer have it installed on your computer. If this is
the case, DO NOT select a site that you know you are already a member of.
Make sure that the size of the file after it has been downloaded AND
UNZIPPED is 1.16
MB, if it is not, then it has been corrupted during the download, and must
be downloaded again until it is the correct size.
(If you do not know how to unzip a file, contact me and I will show you
how.)
Problem Fix Check List
If the message in the pokerbot changes
from "searching for poker site" and you get as far as
“wait for 2
hands message, then the poker bot is working, and you should play the
next 1 or 2 hands manually until the poker bot displays the message
"lets kick ass". If this does not happen, then it is probably having
trouble reading the poker table, and you should follow the instructions
below.
Go
through this check list and follow it EXACTLY, as any one of them that
is different will cause problems
Make sure
you have downloaded the ENGLISH VERSION of the Poker site.
Make sure
the chat box is located in the left bottom.
Make sure
all chat options are checked, including Player Actions.
If Texas
Holdem Bot freezes on start, you must disable your firewall or set it to
allow texasbot.exe
Make sure
the poker table is fully visible. (I normally put the table in one
corner of my desktop, and the bot in the other)
Make sure
you have the normal skin on your operating system (i.e. the normal blue
skin in xp).
Make sure
the windows color depth is set to 32 bit. Check screen resolution,
notice I have mine on 1024 by 768
• Right click on the desktop
• In the Settings tab, set the color depth to 32 bit
If it still does not work after you have tried all of the above, then let
me know at: admin@texas-holdem-bot.com and I will send you a zipped copy, in the
event that your file is being corrupted during download, (which is
sometimes the case).
